restore win 2008 R2 Active directory backup (system state backup) in another DC which has different hardware specifications

in win 2008R2 Domain controller, via windows server backup tools, i created a backup from system state ( for AD backup).

can we restore win 2008 R2 Active directory backup (system state backup) in another DC which has different hardware specifications? will there be problems if i do this ?

what if the second server has the same hardware specifications ?
