We have multiple Windows 2008 R2 servers running Windows Server Backup. All are backing up to either
an internal hdd or a USB hdd. They will be working fine for months at a time and then we will check the system and it will have erased the history and we will have only a few backups instead of many months of backups. For example, our server currently
only shows 9 backups and should have at least 50 or 60. The Backup hdd is a 2 TB drive that shows 79 % free. The command "wbadmin get versions" shows only the 9 copies. VSSADMIN List shadowstorage shows the vss space for the backup
drive to be unbounded. What is the solution to resolve the issue of Windows Server Backup clearing the previous backups when there is space available?
